DSH - Zuchtstätte "Vom Ödland"

I am a disciplined dog sport handler since 1960. Before I started breeding German Shepherd dogs I presented the by myselve trained brood bitch " Carmen vom Sonnenwinkel " for her SchH III test.

Since 1963 I am breeding under the registered kennel name " Vom Ödland " German Shepherd dogs.

My first litter :

Out of my third litter I was privileged to present the DDR Youth Winner " Conny vom Ödland " who also proofed his quality at regional working trails. In the years thereafter I could always place male dogs and bitches in the top positions at the DDR Championship shows e.g. Golf v. Ödland, Irko v. Ödland, Vulkan v. Ödland, Quelle v. Ödland , Otti v. Ödland. My breed objective is to as closely as possible combine the working ability and the beauty of the German Shepherd dog.

Already in 1986 I was presented with the honorary Gold medal for amongst others having more than 25 trained Schutz- and Tracking dogs.

All these dogs are from my breed and up to now I train them self. My dogs that made them breed license made them all class 1. After a breeding pause and a reorientation, at the begin of the nineties, I was able to reach many upper places with my bred dogs in different competitions. After the reunion of the both german shepherd associations I kept up breeding some pure GDR blooded dogs. My present grey brood bitch has pure GDR-blood and breed license 1 for life and the assessment "exellent".
